Fees & Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started?
Send me a message through the contact page, and we can schedule a time to connect.
1
What can I expect in the first session?
2
The first session is typically me asking a lot of questions. I want to understand what you’re struggling with, but also who you are and what makes you you. From there, we’ll talk about goals and create a plan together.
What is your therapy style?
My style is warm and supportive, and I always prioritize making sure you feel safe enough to open up — because that's where real work begins. From there, I draw on evidence-based approaches including the Gottman Method for couples therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help you make meaningful, lasting progress. I tailor my approach to what you actually need, so sessions are structured enough to move the needle but flexible enough to meet you where you are.
3
How long does therapy last?
This depends on what brings you in. On average, many clients attend therapy for a few months and begin to see improvement during that time. Some people need longer, and some choose to continue even after things feel better.
4
Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes. I provide telehealth therapy sessions for clients in Florida and California.
5
What are your fees, payment options, and do you accept insurance?
6
Individual, couples, and family therapy sessions are $200 per 50-minute session. I do not accept insurance, and services are offered on a private pay basis. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available based on need. Payment can be made by credit card or ACH transfer.
What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
7
Life happens, and I always try to be understanding. Each client is allowed one free late cancellation. After that, I require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, or the full session fee will be charged. No-shows are billed at the full session rate.
